Review of Triple Touch Electric Shaver Set By Barber King

I was expecting junk when I ordered it. I wanted something that was good for traveling but not expensive in case it was lost or stolen. When I received the order I looked at the case and said it looked good. I went to open the case and a black piece of plastic came off the lock. I am still not sure if it was a lock or not, i figured thats what I paid for. I opened the case and was shocked to see all that was inside. The rotery shaver was light weight. I figure it would not shave well. I was wrong I got a good shave from it. I also believe that it may be a Norelco shaver. I have used the other items and feel that they are real cheap looking(almost looks like a toy). The whole setlooks like it is very light weight, But it works well. in fact it shaved me as well as my Braun shaver and the 2 trimmers worked as well as my Noreclo trimmer. I am not sure how long the set will last but for around $11 for the set who cares. It is well worth the $11.

After writing my reveiw I had to look at a Noreclo trimmer set that I have. After looking at both items side to side. I would have to say that this item is a Norelco under a diferent name. The trimmers worked the same way and the parts looked almost the same only the casing was changed to a cheaper looking item.
After using it I have to say it took a bit of time to shave compaired to my Braun. I feel for traveling it is still good but it is not the best shave I can get.

Review of Braun SE7280 Silk-Epil Xpressive Epilator Body System, Corded

I've been epilating my underarms for about 6 years and just recently I braved it to do my legs. It's not that they hurt more or less, it's just that it takes long and my tolerance period runs out.My first epilator is also Braun and itworks perfectly after many years.I bought the 7280 because I misplaced the old one, so now I use both simultaneously and I finish faster. The 7280 is really cool because you can take off the epilating head to wash. Also, it comes with a shaving head and a light which is very helpful to locate strays. As for tips, for your first time you should wax the area first....you don't want to try epilating old hair, the roots are a lot harder and can even draw blood dots.Start off on the strays that waxing leaves behind, believe me, this little gadget picks up the tiniest hairs so it will have PLENTY to pull. It will hurt but you can take it. Be comitted! As soon as new hair starts to poke, epilate it. Don't give the roots any time to harden. The more often you do it, the better! If you won't epilate often, you are just going to torture yourself, so save your money. My only gripe is that the new model has tweezers which are half plastic and half metal.My old one was all metal and I feel like it pulled more hair. On the other hand, because of the plastic clamps, the 7280 is a tad quieter.

I recently received this item and it has worked flawlessly for touching up my line-ups. This trimmer cuts as close as I could possibly ask for and it doesn't require that you press hard at all. It's simple, makes quick work of the job and is very precise.

I'm sure there are many of us that have tried consumer models with little to no success. I bought this trimmer for the detail trimming on my poodle and it works great!I didn't want to use the big clippers on her face and paws, and the small size of this trimmer makes it easy to work with.It's a little noisy but she tolerates it just fine.The purchase of this trimmer plus the Wahl color pro clipper set was about the same as one trip to the groomers, so it has already paid for itself!

Review of Panasonic ES8163 Shaver (factory refurbished)

I've been using nothing but electric shavers for three decades and have found Panasonic to make the best on the market. Other name brands of shavers would barely work for a year; each new model of Panasonic I have purchased has kept running longer than the previous one, the last one having survived for around three years. (And this despite having been dropped repeatedly on concrete.) I must note though, the last two linear Panasonics I have owned charged through induction: this made it super easy to plop the shaver into its charger and to snatch it out with just one hand. The new linear model no longer charges by induction: you have to carefully set the shaver into the stand to insure proper electrical contact, and it takes two hands to disconnect it from the power supply. Interestingly, the new model has the power adapter on the AC plug. Guess this keeps heat from regenerating to the shaver when charging, to prolong the life of the lithium-ion battery. Time will tell.

To further protect your investment, Panasonic has included a new, tougher leatherette travel pouch. It is contoured to fit perfectly around the shaver but unfortunately does not provide any room for the adapter cord and charging stand. Fortunately though this new model is giving me a lot more shaves per charge, so on short hops I really need not bring the charger along.

As for the shave, this thing is unexcelled. If you look closely at the shaving head in the photo, you will notice that the foil has a gentle curve to the top. This allows the correspondingly curved cutter blades to oscillate in an arc, maintaining an even pressure against the foil. Surprisingly then, although the new linear runs smoother and is slimmer and lighter and than any of its predecessors, it is noticeably louder-- humming with with power. I sport quite the course whisker but this thing cuts through my stubble like a hot knife through butter, giving me the fastest, best shave I ever had. And the new trimmer pops both up and out with an easy flick of a grippy rubber switch-- you gotta just try it yourself to see how nifty this new feature is.

The instruction booklet has a brief section entitled "For wet shaving" but they provide no guidance for shaving dry, so let me stick in some advice of my own here. Dry shaving is probably a better choice for those who still find themselves getting nicks with an electric, but you'll need to apply shaving talc or something like that. This will help raise up your stubble, much as shaving lotion would, without you losing your grip in places where you have to tug at your skin for your whiskers to stand up. Of course, you'll still have to use soap and water to get off the talc residue, so this method is not completely dry.

Wow, this thing shaves so close, I can actually see my face now!

Review of Wahl 3 in 1 Wet/Dry Personal Trimmer

Warning. Before you purchase this product please inform yourself so you don't make the same mistake i did. Check the other reviews on Amazon for Wahl 5560 and see what they say as well. I purchased this product because of the Wahl name. I own their plug-in electric hair groomer and it is powerful and well made. Unfortunately, this nose trimmer is not of the same quality. It is cheaply made foreign junk with the Wahl name stamped on it. The cutter actually did a decent job, for a week or two. Then started having trouble with the little motor, wouldn't turn or cut. I took it apart and the motor looks like a cheap motor from a toy in a happy meal. Waste of money. Caveat emptor. os

it worked fine the first time. then a month later the power was much lower. so low that it wouldn't cut without snagging the hair.it wasn't the outlet because i tried it in another house and on different outlets. I threw it out in disgust.
