Remington R-200 is a very decent shaver.Unlike Norelco "lift and cut" systems, it does not claim to give you the "closest shave possible".It simply provides you with a clean and comfortable shave without stripping the skin off your face.Another advantage of this product is that it has 2 foil rings on each rotary head, effectively doubling their shaving area.Blades stay sharp for a very long time.This is a corded (non-chargeable shaver), which means it works instantly at full power when plugged into the outlet.Chargeable shavers at this price range can only run at peak performance when their batteries are fully charged.When out of charge, these shavers quit working altogether, even if plugged into the outlet.
It should also be noted that this product does not come with a travel pouch.Remington R-225 is a shaver identical to this one, except that it comes with a pouch.Some outlets have been discounting R-225 lately to the point that it has become a better deal than R-200.
Verdict: excellent shaver at this price range.
